I have a factory-sealed 400ft bulk roll of Eastman Kodak Plus-X 5231, black and white movie stock film. The film can of course be used for still photography (recommended 80ASA/125ASA). The film was discontinued a couple years ago by Kodak, and this might be one of the latest chances to shoot a considerable amount of it. The film was bought for me by a personal contact in Hollywood who deals with short ends and recans and it was an exception that he found this. The can is still sealed as the day it came out of the factory, and it has been properly stored by film dealers in the USA until I bought it; I have kept it in the fridge since then. I do not have an expiry date for it, but I reckon the film should be at least two years old. |
